It has always been my passion to look at things from different perspectives. Setting off at 7am this morning I shot off down to the Meadows in Chester. The Meadows is a common piece of land that is surrounded on two sides by the River Dee.
I was able to fly the aircam along the centreline of the river from the Meadows down towards the Groves and take in the sights of the Old Dee Bridge, Queens Park Suspension Bridge as well as obtain footage of Chester city centre, the weir, Chester Park, Queens Park, Boughton, Sandy Lane and the Chester Sailing Club.
The perfectly flat weather was long overdue and this resulted in some of the smoothest videoing I have managed so far.
As the aircraft is an electric glider, it was just a matter of powering up over the meadows and gliding towards the sights. I was so thrilled to be in this area with just myself and the occasional jogger and dog walker so early on a Sunday morning that I just ran out of video memory some 20 seconds before the landing. Enjoy!
