I must be one of those nutters who love to feed the garden birds. During our rather cold spring I felt sorry for all those little birdies out there, so went and purchased a couple of nut feeders for the tits. It’s one of those feeders that hang from the branch of a tree vertically with no foot pegs. That particular design is so that the agile Blue and Great Tits can feed whilst the sparrows cant.  So what happened? Did the sparrows go to the gym or something?Why are they hanging off the sides of my feeder, in the domain of the privileged? Is this possible?
