Driving home from Chester I noticed the ubiquitous dayglo orange triangles and just had to follow them. Expecting to find a motocross event I was mildly surprised to find a 4x4 off road event.
Compared to usual motor sports events, this was very relaxed. Instead of perching behind the usual barriers and access limitations I found here the course changed after every stage and frequently you were running out of the way of vehicles.
.There were two major classes running simultaneously here: One for road ready cars and the other for 'modified' vehicles. Clearly the drivers and spectators were enjoying the event. Several times during the day vehicles were rolling over and down the steep embankments.
